Very positively exceeded expectations on several accounts including service, food/wine and ambiance. This is not what you’d expect from a hotel restaurant. Location is right at the river with fantastic views. It was the holiday season so everything was nicely decorated with trees lining the balcony. Guests were taking photos at the tastefully decorated tree. Service by Luis was top notch and couldn’t have been better, going the extra mile to bring the bottle for the wine I liked so much so I could take a pic. Food was delicious- the salad with house made dressing was delicious, both entrees were perfectly cooked pasta with tasty sauces and presented nicely, and the dessert, a pear pecan pie was so good down to the detail of the salted caramel sauce. These guys have a chef that knows what they are doing. Only recc. is to equip tables with small pepper mills.

Service was fast and friendly. Price was unbelievable! Buy one pasta meal, get the 2nd free. I've never seen that at a nice riverfront, reasturant in these times.

This restaurant exceeded all expectations! The high-end food was an absolute masterpiece, with every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made the experience seamless and enjoyable. What truly sets this place apart is the breathtaking view—it’s right on the water, offering stunning scenery that perfectly complements the luxurious atmosphere. Whether for a romantic evening or a special celebration, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Excellent food at a good price. The portions were quite ample especially the kids' Fish and Chips. I was especially pleased with the steak salad, it was practically two meals in one. The wait staff were attentive with a few exceptions. They certainly exceeded my expectations for Gen Z workers. (Sorry Zoomers, but where's the burn, there's fire, and I'm Lit). I'm looking forward to our next Hood River adventure so we can stop by for some more tasty food!

One of the finest restaurants in Hood River, OR. We were in the area for Thanksgiving, and thankfully, they were open. What a spectacular meal! We shared some of their appetizers; the Gorganzola Gnocchi, Broccoli Florets, Sweet Potato Soup, and Beet Salad were all amazing. Then the Thanksgiving dinner entree came out and WOW was it ever phenomenal: both white and dark meat, moist and sliced thick, the made-from-scratch buttery, creamy mashed potatoes and homemade stuffing, all finished with a delicious medley of roasted squash and vegetables. A very hearty thank you to all their kitchen staff for an absolutely devine meal! Service was prompt and attentive and friendly, all the staff were wonderful and their attention was the cherry on top of a fantastic holiday meal. The portions were generous and the prices were great. Another bonus is the restaurant is nestled within the striking origial late-1960s architecture that perfectly captures the gorgeous views of the Columbia River while you dine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had dinner here last night during our stay at the hotel, the food was divine. We started at the bar with a well mixed Old Fashioned and Manhattan. For dinner in the main room, we had the mussels appetizer, cooked with white wine, olives and peppers, delicious bread on the side. For our main courses, we had the Braised Lamb Gnocchi and Chicken Scallopine! Gnocchi was cooked perfectly, melted on the first bite, the lamb was tender, flavorful, delicious. The chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked, with shitake mushrooms, lemon and basil. The saffron risotto was also spot on, perfect compliment to the dish. We paired this with an amazingly delicious Blanco wine from local Analemma Winery. Finally, we opted for their vegan chocolate cheesecake dessert! Gotta say, this restaurant has great atmosphere, and our server was very attentive. We had a wonderful dining experience, recommend you do yourself a favor and stop in, you won't be disappointed

We had a special occasion and were so lucky to find this restaurant! Incredible views, beautifully done, high quality food, a lot of non alcoholic beverages and gluten free option in the menu! Friends stuff! Highly recommend!

We had a very nice breakfast here as a family before checking out. The kids' menu items were especially good so my older kids got two each: granola yogurt bowl and the pancakes. My chorizo on brioche was amazing. We even ended with a slice of carrot cake and were glad we did. We were at a busy spot close to the entrance to the kitchen but still had a nice view of the river. It was busy at prime breakfast time and I had to flag down the server for coffee refills but we didn't wait too long for our food and had very good service other than that.
